Lea and Alax’s wedding was nothing short of exquisite. It was a beautiful day on Dillingham Ranch. The venue was decorated with beautiful flowers and the palm trees in the background helped create beautiful pictures. The couple and the guests were energetic which made it easy to have tons of fun. Everything about this wedding was beautiful! Congratulations Lea and Alax!
How delightful it is going to Kauai whether for perfect surf or shooting an amazing destination wedding like this one with Lindsay & Nico coming all the way from Florida. They were such an adventurous and fun couple who I really enjoyed spending time with. First we started off by going to a private waterfall for the ceremony with their families. After a few shots on a nearby beach we drove to Poipu were they jumped off the rock at Shipwreck beach and trashed the dress, there is a little GoPro Hero clip at the bottom of the post. After some underwater photos we watched an amazing Kauai sunset. Congratulations Lindsay and Nico!
A little over a year ago I met Marie and Rennard, they had me photograph their engagement pictures when they were here on Oahu. They were a really fun couple to work with, so I was so excited a few months after when they had asked if I could be their photographer for their wedding on Maui at the Olowalu Plantation House. Amazing location, maybe one of the most beautiful wedding venues I have seen in Hawaii. Their wedding was nothing sort of perfect, from the DJ to the Shaved Ice Truck, and all the amazing family and friend that came all the way to Maui for this destination wedding. Congratulation Marie & Rennard!!
I was so stoked to spend time with Sandra & Ok on this life style shoot. They both work in advertising and came all the way from Taipei Taiwan. We spent most of the day on the North Shore getting different engagement and wedding style photos. Congratulations Sandra and Ok, good luck with the wedding.
I had so much fun photographing Marissa & Sean’s wedding. It took place at two of the most beautiful wedding venues on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The wedding ceremony was at the upper meadow in Waimea Valley and the wedding reception was located at Dillingham Ranch. There are so many amazing locations to take photographs at both venues and all along the North Shore. I loved the decor at the reception, it was all designed by Marissa her self. Congratulations Marissa and Sean!
i loved photographing this local wedding. The incredible food, entertainment, and all the friends and family create the kind of atmosphere that makes Hawaii so special. Leiau and Lance had an amazing wedding on the beach just outside of Laie, and after headed over to Kualoa Ranch for the reception. The following Monday, Leiau decided to jump off Laie point in her wedding dress. It was the perfect day with light winds and calm seas. Congratulations Leiau and Lance! 
Here are a few photos of Max & Mona’s wedding at the Laie Hawaii Temple. It was an amazing day, Max’s family mostly from Laie and Mona’s travailing all the way from New Zealand. After the temple I took the bride and groom to Laie bay and Gun Stock Ranch to take some more photos. The receptions was amazing, the family really came together to create a beautiful and fun gathering. My favorite was the vintage VW van. Congratulations Max & Mona!!
It’s been awhile since my last post. Step back daily bloggers… my passion for photography has combined with providing people with incredible experiences, captured by my lens. Let me share with you some of the photo-tourism and destination wedding-photo-shoots that have kept me busy this year.
This year started off full of fun photo shoots with international clients from China, Singapore and Taiwan. I might need to brush up on some language skills!
I’ve begun collaborating with an amazing, boutique, vintage Hawaii, wedding venue here in the country. (That’s code for not crowded Waikiki.) The Wedding Cottage Hawaii. The idea was to offer brides and couples getting engaged with more than an ordinary photo shoot. Coming soon we are going to offer a variety of different outdoor activities that I can document for clients in an editorial – life style type of shoot. Some of the activities include beach cruising on the North Shore, Sunset Beach skate path, paddle boarding down a river, kayaking to small islands, horse back riding and cattle wrangling at Gunstock Ranch. If you’re not a surfer or a skater but want some fun outdoor experience photographed… we’ve got options. If you do want that skate or surf experience, talk to the Event Directors at The Wedding Cottage and they can customize this, along with their lodging options. I had a great time photographing Candice and Sam’s wedding. They came all the way from New Zealand with their families for an intimate destination wedding here in Hawaii. It was a beautiful day to have a wedding on the white sandy beaches of Waimanalo. It turned out to be an amazing day, we even had time hike down to a remote cove to trash the dress. Congratulations Candice and Sam!
I had a fantastic time photographing Marina and Lyosha from Moscow, Russia. They booked me for a four hour session giving us plenty of time to get a variety of wedding shots and also time to get some candid photos in the water. Marina and Lyosha were the 5th couple I photographed from Russia this year! Very cool. We spent our time on the North Shore of Oahu and here is a sampling of what we got. 
I had an amazing time photographing Bonnie and Stockton’s wedding. They were married on the beautiful beaches of Kailua where they had tons of family and friends there to celebrate their special day. Bonnie and Stockton both work in the movie industry, so everything was done right, from the decor to the best lighting I have ever worked with at a reception. After the wedding ceremony they drove to Kualoa ranch for the reception in a restorted dodge comet. I loved meeting all of their friends and family and wish Bonnie and Stockton never ending happiness in their life together!
I normally don’t post weddings this quickly after the date, but Geneva is being deployed this weekend. Just as it is clear in this photo, Geneva and Aj definitely “live for today”. They had a beautiful wedding ceremony at Ke Iki beach, and afterwards they jumped into the oh so inviting ocean. It was one of those days when everything came together, the sea was calm, beach uncrowded, and the sunset was amazing.
