Kaylin came to Hawaii on vacation with her family and best friend and thought it would be a good idea to get her senior portraits taken while in Hawaii. Not a bad idea, especially if you want to have something a little different like underwater senior portraits. We first started taking pictures in the colorful surf town of Haleiwa, and them mosied on over to Waimea Bay to photograph her underwater. It was a lot of fun having her best friend there, and as you can see in the pictures below they had a lot of fun.

So fun. What camera do you use for your underwater shots? I’m really curious how you do it.
When I shoot underwater Portraits I use the canon 5D mark II in a underwater housing, If I am shooting in surf I use one of my older canons, the 40d. I really don’t notice much of a difference in the quality between the two when I am in the water.
Wow! I love these. So cool.
