MEGHAN & MIKE : SUNSET BEACH WEDDING – NORTH SHORE OAHU HAWAII

This was an incredible backyard wedding at Sunset Beach on the North Shore of Hawaii. Besides the stunning style of the couple and her awesome dress, I could really see a ton of happiness in this group- I think you’ll see that in the pictures, everyone had huge smiles and all of that joy and energy made choosing which pictures to post challenging. Meghan and Mike had about 50 people come from the mainland to Hawaii for their destination wedding. Congratulations Meghan and Mike, and thank you for having me photograph your wedding, it was an honor.

7 YEARS : NORTH SHORE OAHU HAWAII UNDERWATER PHOTOGRAPHY

The last few weeks I haven’t had a lot of time to blog, I’ve been shooting almost every day, but I wanted to put up a quick shot of this couple from their 7 year wedding anniversary water shoot. This is one of the owner’s of Surfin Tacos in Hau’ula. Have you tried their chocolate cheesecake? It’s definitely worth topping off your meal with, we are big fans.

ISABELLA & RYAN TEASER : UNDERWATER WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY – WAIMEA BAY HAWAII

I don’t know if I would call this an underwater bridle or trash the dress session, but it was a lot of fun photographing Isabella and Ryan at Waimea Bay. They were naturals in the water. Later this week I will be posting pictures from their wedding at Sun Set Beach and more underwater pictures at Waimea Bay.

These were taken in my studio in Hau’ula with some wonderful ambient light coming through the windows. My daughter was getting ready for a date with mommy to go see a play. She was excited to get her hair curled for the first time. She tends to dislike posing for the camera but I think she’s as cute as any Jcrew kid.

So I have decided to post a pic of the day. This was taken in Punalu’u on my way home from a job in town. Traffic was stopped on Kamaehamea hwy , and we were the 3rd car from the fire, I thought I was going to have to drive around the island to get home like so many times before.
